If you use the Aligning CRM for your own customers or contacts, you decide how their information is used and are responsible for providing any notices and obtaining permissions required of you. Our handling of that customer data is governed by your service agreement and your documented instructions, subject to applicable law.

a. Contact & Business Information

Organization name, role, website, and business details you provide

c. Project & Knowledge-Capture Content

Briefs, preferences, written answers, uploaded files, voice recordings, and saved draft or approval details when these features are offered

d. CRM & Messaging Information

CRM records, appointments, forms, messages, and pipeline activity entered or connected by a customer, plus text opt-in and opt-out records

e. Billing & Payment Information

Invoice, billing, and transaction details; payment-card data is handled by the applicable payment processor

Our Services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can review it and take appropriate action.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only to provide requested services, operate our business, follow your choices, or as permitted by law. We do not sell or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, or consent records with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging vendors may process that information only to deliver the messaging services or messages you requested.

a. Service Providers

Service providers may process information for hosting, CRM, file storage, payment processing, email and text delivery, scheduling, analytics, advertising measurement, or project delivery. They may use it to provide or support those services under applicable contractual restrictions.

b. Customer CRM Data

When a customer uses Aligning CRM to manage other people’s information, that customer is responsible for its privacy notices, legal basis, and permissions. Aligning processes CRM data for the customer according to the customer’s instructions and applicable service terms.

c. Legal Compliance & Protection

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or operations.

d. Corporate Transactions

In the case of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

Client privacy

Client Onboarding & Knowledge Capture

When you use ALIGNING’s client-onboarding app, we collect the contact and business details you provide, your written answers, voice recordings, uploaded files, and draft or approval status and timestamps. The app saves progress so you can resume through a private link. Anyone with that link may be able to access the related draft, so keep it confidential.

We use these materials to prepare and manage onboarding and provide requested services. If AI, transcription, or similar features are enabled, submitted content may be processed by the service providers needed to deliver those features.

We retain submissions for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, meet operational or legal obligations, and respond to requests. You may request access or deletion by contacting us; applicable obligations may limit what can be removed. Privacy requests: [email protected].

AI and large language model training

Aligning does not use personal data collected through the Services to train large language models (LLMs). If you choose an AI or transcription feature, the content you submit may be processed by the relevant provider to return the requested output. Those providers handle data under their applicable terms and privacy practices.
